She has been dancing for over 20 years and decided to participate in the Eight Elements, Datura™ style training to further her understanding with teaching technique, creating choreography, musicality, improvisational skills, costuming, personal dance practice, performance preparation, development of vocabulary, collaborating with others, and to learn more about the history of belly dance. She enjoys facilitating a growing community through this genre of dance. She has been privileged to dance with Sacred Earth Bellydance, Raks Shakti and, most recently, Maui Belly Dance Company. She also regularly performs as a soloist.
